Glenda Kay Rich Mefford
passed away unexpectedly
October 17, 2015 at the age
of 64.
Glenda was born November
6, 1950 in Newcastle, WY to
Elmer & Pauline Rich. She was
the seventh of nine children.
She attended school in
Newcastle graduating with the
class of 1969. After gradua-
tion, Gienda worked in various
jobs in Newcastle.
On June 29, 1972 Glenda
married Joe Mefford and
they made their home in
Newcastle. Joe was a deputy
sheriff and Glenda worked for
Dixon Bros. In 1975, Glenda
became a stay at home morn
when they welcomed their first
son Joseph Warren. In 1977,
their second son Brian Douglas
was born.
After Joe passed away in
1989 Glenda went back to
work to support her family. In
October of 1992 Glenda
started working as bookkeeper
for Weston County Senior
Services. Shortly thereafter she
became the Director where she
remained until her passing.
In 1995, Glenda met her
companion Steve Pollat, whom
she loved very much.
Throughout her life Glenda
was a very devoted daughter,
sister, wife, mother, aunt,
grandma and friend to all who

sisters for years.

Glenda was a strong advo-
