Jobs Daughters
At Grand Session
The Twenty-third Annual Ses-
sion of Grand Guardian Council
of the International Order of
Jobs Daughters was held at Doug-
las June 2, 3, and 4th.
Formal Opening was held
Thursday night at 8 p.m. at which
time all Supreme and Grand Of-
ficers were introduced. Friday
morning a business meeting was
held and reports of committees
read, minutes and communica-
tions. Friday afternoon was op-
ened by a vocal solo by Coleen
Harkins, of Worland, "The Lord's
Prayer" following the invocation.
The Majority Degree was exem-
plified by Bethel 19 of Evanston
and Bethel 35 of Kemmerer di-
rected by Beulah McLeon of Kem-
merer. Only two girls were pre-

be held next June, 1956 at Ther-
mopolis, Wyoming. Transporta-
tion from Newcastle was furnish-

Grand Choir of Wyoming will be
sent to Supreme Session in Boise,
Idaho, August 10th if the Bethels
can raise $500.00. The Grand
Council will give them $1000.00
and the total cost will be $1500.00.
TAKE TRIP TO DENVER
Mr. and Mrs. George Gwinn
and family returned to their
home in Sheridan Sunday after
spending since Friday at the
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
E. tI. Waddle. Previous to that
time the Gwinns' and Waddles'
had spent a week in Denver.
VISITS FROM CHICAGO
Mrs. Tom Washburn of Chica-
go, Ill came Sunday to visit sev-
eral days with her aunt, Mrs. Ann
McDermott. She was met in Ra-
pid City Sunday by Miss Mar-
garet Brennan who brought her
to Newcastle.

left last week for Stickney, S. D.
