The Twentieth Century Club
met Thursday, May 19 with Mrs.
P. T. McAvoy co-hostess. Mrs.
J. W. Kirkpatrick and Mrs. E.
J. Guilfoyle presented a most in-
testing program on Uranium.
During the business meeting
the following officers were elec-
ted for the ensuing year: Mrs

Mrs. John Mullin, vice presi-
dent; Mrs. J. W. Kirkpatrick, sc-

Bill Cattles in Sunday Ceremony
Miss Shirlcy' Ann
and Bill C. Cattles, both of New-
castle were united in marriage
in an impressive ceremony per-
formed by Reverend Kenneth
Rice at the Methodist Church
Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
The double ring rites were of-
ficiated before the altar enhanc-
ed with bouquets of pink carna-
tions and white stock. Mrs. D. K.
Wiltse, organist, accompanied
Miss Ruby Strain, soloist, who
song, “I Love You Truly” and
“Because”.
The bride was lovely ill a gown
of white lace over satin, The
tight fitting bodice was styled
with a full skirt with nylon pleats
in front.
Her veil of pleated net fell from
a bandctlu studded with seeded
pearls. lied and white carnations
on a bible completed her cnscnr
ble.
Mrs. Robert Borgialli, sister of
the bride, was matron of honor.
She wore a turquoise ballerina
length gown with a white carna-
tion corsage. Miss Donna Lee
Mendenllall of Hamilton, Mont.,
and Miss Eileen Schwarze of
Greenwood, Wisconsin served as
bridesmaids. Miss Mendenhall
was attired in a flamingo baller-
ina length gown and Miss
Schwarzc wore a yellow ballerina
length gown. Both ladies were
white carnation corsages Miss
Mary Morse of Newcastle, attired
in a turquoise dress, was flower
girl.
Douglas Cattles served the
groom as best man. Ushers were
Roflert Borgialli and Orval Bor-
gialli both of Newcastle, Wyo.

scene of a Sunday noon wedding
when Miss Irene May Cummings,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. R.
Cummings became the bride of
John Robert Whitford, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Whitford of Win-
ner, S. D.
The double ring ceremony was
officiated by Rev. Ronald Giffin
