4 -- May 7, 2015 news letter journal Pa$$ag@$ news@newsO'.com Where a beautiful soul has been, beautiful memories remain In great honor of our daughter, sister, niece, wife, ravisher, friend and teacher you will be sadly missed. Jami accomplished many things in her short life, she worked as an optician to help put herself through college to be a teacher. She graduated and went to work as a flight attendant and flew all over the United States and Canada, She moved to Alaska, where she taught second grade in Aniak. She met her wonderful husband Brad, (often saying she had met her soulmate). They were married near Homer, Alaska. Brad's job took them to Fort Collins, Colorado. On February Izth, 2ol3 she became a mother to Isabella Bee Mattison. The sweetest gid in the wodd in the eyes of this Granny and Papa. As many of you know, she had a beautiful voice. Not so long ago, I asked her if she would have liked to have been on American Idol. She laughed and said, "No, 1 sang at too many wedding and funerals to last a lifetime• Singing to Bells (her daughter) is being in the spotlight enough." Jami loved to cook, sew, garden and loved.., loved.., loved her chickens, (by the way, they wer~ the kindest chickens I have ever seen). She had three dogs in her life that she adored: Tax Danny, and Stew. Stew was her everything until Brad came along and then Stew... was still first, until Bella came along, then Stew was right with Bella, and Brad was, well.., he gladly knew how much Stew meant to Jami. "Must love dogs" was her motto. Jami was truly a free spirit like the butterfly flying from here to there, looking and finding the next adventure. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, and niece. She fuved her husband and was a wonderful mother to Bella. The kids she taught in Aniak loved her and hated to see her go, She fbrever touched so many lives. We sadly gave Jami back to God and we thank Him for the time I le allowed her to be in our lives. So, with these words, we say goodbye Jami, until we take our nwn journey to be with you... But for now.., we hear your voice speak to our souls. Thank you fi)r your heartfelt words, prayers, and generous memorial funds, knox, that they were all heard, fclt and appreciated.
