Farm Bureau Banquet
Were you there? If you weren'
you missed a big celebration. The
annual Farm Bureau Victory Ban-
quet last Saturday was the largest
gathering of farm and ranch peo-
ple that this writer has had the
pleasure to attend. Wes'ton Coun-
ty Farm Bureau President, Nell
Tilompson and his Banquet Com-
mittee should be commended for
the excellent job of planning this
years banquet, lIow about letting
them know what you thought of
it.

weeks but we were able to do him Just a reminder to you folks
more justice as compared with the that are participating in the hay
last.
You know, you just couldn't do
that with just anybody. Thanks
Judge for letting us use you and we

response will always be in the same
fine attitude of good sportsmanship.

dergoing some marked improvements. At long last a flagpole
and a light light to illuminate the parking area has been added.
A call has gone out for volunteer help to place the flagstones
on the hillside. There is always a sparkplug behind such move-
meats and there are always those who fall in and do their
share. As soon as we find out who is doing this work, we'll
let you know.

occurring on Highway 16 a dozen miles to the east.
Wehave heard that Patrolman Wilcox and Coroner Mc-
Colley have made plans resulting from their past experience,
to sit it out on alert Saturday and Sunday nights
Surely an average of two deaths per year on the same strip
of roadway warrants a thorough looking in to. There is one
form of death vying for number one position that a vaccine
won't help.
