Thompson-Swindler Are Wed
in Candlelight Ceremony
A lovely bride was Miss Mer-~
line Thompson of Newcastle
when she exchanged wedding
vows with Dean Swindler also
of Newcastle in a candlelight cer-
emony performed at the First
Methodist Church Wednesday,
April 6 at Newcastle.
The double ring ceremony was
officiated by Rev. Kenneth Rice
at 7 o'clock before an altar de-
corated with bouquets of Easter
lilies and green carnations. The
organist, Miss Del Thomas, ac-
compan/ed M/ss Kathryn Craig,
soloist who sang, "Because", "I
