Laramie -- Roy E. Wuthier, In-
lernational Farm Youth Exchange
delegate from Banner, returned
from India before Christmas.
Wuthier has been working and
living with Indian farm families
for the past 4 months, lie was one
of 10 young Americans visiting
that country. In exchange, 25
young farmers from India visited
U. S. farm families this fall.
The India exchange is sponsor-
ed by the National 4-it Club foun-
dation, the Agricultural Exten-
sion Service, and the Ford Found-
ation. The program is privately
financed through contributions
on local, state, and national lev-
els. The Wyoming Farm Bureau
Federation contributed $350 to-
ward Roy's trip.
Purpose of the exchange is to
promote better understanding be-
tween the U. S. and other nations.
