City of Newcastle, Wyoming
NOTICE is hereby given that
the Town Council of the City of
~lNewcast]e, Wyoming, will meet

i of January, 1955, at 6:00 o'clock
P.M, for the purpose of receiv-
ing and considering sealed bids
[for the purchase of $25,000 Mun-
icipal Building Bonds of the City
iof Newcastle, bearing date Jan,
uary 1, 1955, in thc denomination
of $1000 each, bearing interest at
the rate or rates designated by
the successful bidder, payable
July 1, 1955, and semiannually
thereafter on January 1 and July
1 in each year and maturing ser-
ially on January 1st in the years
and amounts as follows: $2,000 in
each of the years 1957 to 1961,
both inclusive, and $3,000 in each
of the years 1962 to 1966, both in-
clusive, said bonds maturing in
1966 subject to redemption at par
and accrued interest on January
I, 1965.
Both principal and interest will
be payable at any suitable bank
designated by the purchaser. The
City of Newcastle will furnish
printed bonds and approving le.
gal opinion of Messrs. Faegre &
Bonbon, Minneapolis, Minnesota,
both without expense to t,he pur-
chaser. The bonds will be deliv-
ered to the purchaser within for-
ty days from the date of sale, ac-
companied by an unqualified ap-
proving legal opinion and custom-
ary final delivery papers, includ-
ing a certificate showing absence
of litigation.
i All bids must be in writing en-
closed in a sealed envelope, be
unconditional except as to the
above opinion, and be left with
the undersigned prior to the
above time, accompanied by a
certified check, bank draR or
cashier's check in the .amount of
at least $500, payable to the or-
der of the said municipality, to be
forfeited as liquidated damages
in event the bid is accepted and
the bidder fails to comply there-
with.
Bids must be sttbmitted stating
the same rate or rates of interest
from the date of issue to maturity

maturity date in multiples of one-
quarter or one-tenth of one per-
